Tech Transfer-2012

The state has realized that for the Economic Development of the Nation through promoting Entrepreneurs in Technology Driven areas can be activated by the translation of researches from the laboratories to green projects on the field. This translation value chain is governed by various drivers from Research through Technology Development, Technology Transfer, Commercialization of Technologies and Techno-preneurship. It is a known fact that many technologies are stagnated in the hands of technology developer’s waiting to be commercialized. The wide gap between industry requirements and knowledge creators, inaccessibility of information, lack of communication and mutual trust, lack of suitable platform for interaction and misalignment between ‘technology-supply’ and ‘ market demand’. It is therefore necessary to address the above gaps through creating a wider platform for technology transfer.

Focusing at these objectives, the state has organized a Tech Transfer Workshop or a Buyers- Sellers Meet for Technologies in collaboration with the interested partners.

Technology Transfer workshop as an part of Innovation Development Strategy organized Tech Transfer- 2012 which aims toward gathering of Buyers and Sellers of technologies under one roof. This workshop plays an important role by providing a single broad platform for displaying of the innovative technologies of the researchers where they can be commercialized / licensed –out. Tech Transfer 2012 as a one-stop shop for most of the technology related requirements of Indian life-science industry.
