BiotechnopreneurTM Programme

Entrepreneurship, especially in technology-driven areas have been a challenge in the state of Gujarat. Marriage of technical understanding and funding is critical for success of a biotechnology lead enterprise. At times, understanding of technology and its market potential and at times lack of awareness regarding the support systems possible from various sources, inclusive of the Governments’ end, are not known.

Biotechnopreneur Programme is an attempt to bridge these gaps and train the participants to better understand the biotechnology industry. The programme is a 10 month long weekend program, where the participants are given classroom lectures and industrial visits for 4 months. The participants are trained for Opportunity identification, Grounding of the technology with business plan and Project Execution. At the end of the program, the participants submit a bankable project, which can be taken up for funding further.
