Supported Projects 2017-18

Under Research Support Scheme 2017, total 9 projects are supported with a financial assistance of Rs. 4.48 Crores.

Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission has launched Research Support Scheme under which financial assistance is provided for research projects. Research grants have been provided to 133 research projects in 20 universities to 143 faculties and 153 research fellows with Rs. 28.47 Crores under its 6 cycles from 2005 to 2017. Under these six cycles, 65 research papers and 101 conference presentations were made.
Under Research Support Scheme 2017, total 9 projects are supported with a financial assistance of Rs. 4.48 Crores. Out of the 9 projects recommended by Technical Advisory Committee, 3 projects are recommended under Networking Program on Cancer Research. From 188 Projects, 37 Research projects are recommended by Technical Advisory Committee, with total cost of Rs. 760 lacs, over a period of three years.
